Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in internal communications and change management, corporate communications, or a related field, with a proven track record of success
- Exceptional writing skills and strong business acumen, with a talent for creating messages that resonate and motivate across different levels of the company and across various communication channels
- Experience in building communication frameworks or playbooks from the ground up, ideally in a high-growth or startup environment
- High emotional intelligence (EQ) and relationship-building skills, with the ability to quickly establish trust, navigate diverse teams, and influence across all levels of the organization
- Experience in change management communication, particularly during periods of growth or organizational transformation
- A proactive mindset, with the ability to anticipate communication needs and address them before they arise
Responsibilities
- Craft and execute a comprehensive internal communications strategy that ensures all employees are informed, aligned, and engaged
- Develop targeted messaging tailored to different domains, locations, and levels within the organization
- Proactively manage key communication events such as all-hands meetings, town halls, Q&As, and newsletters
- Take ownership of internal messaging during periods of change, ensuring effective communication of updates, transitions, and organizational shifts
- Establish the foundational processes and frameworks for internal communication across the company
- Create playbooks, set up systems to measure communication effectiveness, and ensure consistent messaging as the company scales
