Requirements
- Minimum of 10+ years of progressive, project-related experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline
- Specialized experience in complete project development from inception to deployment
- Proven experience in providing guidance and directions on multiple tasks across several functional areas involving multiple system applications
- Proven experience in understanding program requirements, ability to review and evaluate all work performed
- Expertise in management and control of funds and resources
- Experience providing direction to staff to ensure compliance with management policies and procedures
- Extensive experience in providing technical management and direction for problem definitions, analysis, and requirements development for complex systems
- Documented experience in providing recommendations and advice to executives on system improvements and for optimization and maintenance of business processes
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience and understanding of systems and systems development to assess the impact on the project of technical issues and potential mitigations
- Active TS clearance (must be willing and able to get a CI polygraph once hired)
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary interface with the COR and CO, attending status meetings and ad hoc meetings with stakeholders
- Provide leadership, quality control, and management support at the ATS section level
- Provide a detailed Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) in accordance with government requirements
- Conduct frequent check-ins with ATS leadership to gain insight into projects, schedules, milestones, risks, and mitigation activities
- Assist in maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for ongoing efforts
- Coordinate and track project resources as directed by ATS leadership
- Provide consolidated regular reporting to senior management regarding schedule, performance, resource, risk, and IT assurance information
- Coordinate executive presentations, off-site meetings, and other section activities
- Track project team taskings through available tracking tools, ensuring critical path milestones are being achieved and on track
- Deliver monthly System Security and Performance reports
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification highly desirable
