Requirements
- Active MD or DO or Advanced Practice Provider
- Currently employed or affiliated in the Canyons or Desert Regions of Intermountain Health
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Approval of clinical supervisor to engage in the above activities
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with members of the Digital Technology Services (DTS) Learning and Engagement Team
- Take Epic training early in March 2025
- Spend 3 hours a week for 14 weeks on Super User Orientation, Rounding on peers, Hosting lunch and learns, Following up with providers, Coordinating with Epic Journey team
- Provide 40 hours of in-person support to providers during the first three weeks after go-live in September 2025
- Rounding on peers of assigned geography or facility
- Assists providers of aligned geography at the elbow
- Coordinates with local operational leadership on escalations
- Helps de-escalate provider escalations and concerns
- Virtually assist peers across the system in the same specialty if need arises
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior Epic certification or experience is not required but beneficial
