Requirements

  • BS degree in engineering or higher (electrical, mechanical, industrial engineering, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of CAE systems such as Solidworks, PRO/E or other 3D modeling software
  • MS Office suite working knowledge required
  • Strong PC and appropriate software skills required
  • Statistical analysis part of daily activities such as process capability, probability, DOE, TOC, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering expertise in design and operation of machines and related equipment and the software suite of PanaCIM & DGS
  • Support sales and service activities for pre and post sales including installations, presentations, troubleshooting and machine optimization
  • Perform pre-sales product simulation reports utilizing DGS and the creation of formal Simulation Reports
  • Conduct technical writing for industry trade journals and conferences
  • Provide technical training to sales and service individuals
  • Support product installations and troubleshoot machine issues with service personnel
  • Analyze equipment specifications to ensure products meet industry safety and electrical standards
  • Provide pre-sales support by giving demonstrations of the equipment and making presentations
  • Provide post-sales support by going to customer sites and providing startup support, programming and debugging products, and customer process improvement

Preferred Qualifications

  • Some design experience preferred
  • Preference for electronic assembly experience (but not required)
  • AutoCAD experience preferred (but not required)
  • Preference for advanced skills in MS Excel including VBA and macro development/usage (but not required)
  • Programming experience using Visual Basic Dot.net preferred
  • Preference for advanced MS PowerPoint skills required, including custom animation usage, VBA, embedding objects, etc. (but not required)
