Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in hospital laboratory
- Familiarity with all aspects of Specimen Processing
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, additional computer skills
- Strong communication & organizations skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Supervise the processing staff and coordinate the registration, processing and delivery of specimens to the appropriate laboratories in a timely manner
- Drive high quality patient care by managing the specimen processing team
- Organize and oversee daily operations
- Provide direction to staff in order to achieve the premier specimen work flow
Preferred Qualifications
- Supervisory experience including training of staff
- Ability to prioritize and triage work flow within large laboratory setting
- Lean & Six Sigma process knowledge/understanding
- AAS Degree
- Laboratory processing experience
