Requirements

  • 5+ years of customer facing technical management roles
  • Excellent at presenting, storytelling, and demoing
  • Experience with REST API based & cloud/SaaS solution design
  • Excellent executive communication

  • Finance and/or accounting knowledge is a nice to have

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train and mentor Sales Engineers. Set team goals, track performance, and foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.
  • Lead the Sales Engineering team in working with customers and prospects to understand their technical challenges and requirements, develop and present technical solutions, troubleshoot complex technical issues and work with our Solutions Architect team to transfer the solution vision to execution.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to close deals, provide technical expertise and support during the sales process.
  • Sales Engineering provides critical connective tissue between sales, marketing, product, and engineering. As the head of this team you will strategically shape how this cross functional work is accomplished.
  • Develop and execute growth plans that align with Modern Treasury’s strategic vision, identify and pursue new business opportunities, stay up-to-date on the latest payment technologies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and prospects. Provide ongoing support and ensure customer satisfaction, drive deep customer engagement by influencing the customer’s broader payment strategy.
