Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- + 4 years of relevant Customer Service Management experience
- Mechanical aptitude with product and Water/utility industry knowledge preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products
- Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization
- Ability to work in a team /collaborative environment
- Ability to train others
- Ability to work with little or no supervision
- Problem-solving, analytical skills and the ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously
- Interpersonal skills
- High Attention to detail and a desire for continuous improvement
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and a professional attitude and demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Must have thorough knowledge of customer service procedures and functions.
- Effectively supervise people to achieve the company’s goals and objectives.
- Ensure orders and quotes are being scheduled and completed timely.
- Review and approve quotes per the company delegation of authority.
- Align both the quotes and inside sales teams on pricing strategies and other customer initiatives.
- Direct all procedures regarding order entry and quotations.
- Prioritizing work is a key essential for the job.
- Maintain proper electronic or manual customer files, pricing and quotations.
- Interact effectively and professionally with customers, internal support, salespeople and others within the organization.
- Coordinate customer service and product training to Quotes and Inside Sales team members.
- Assist as needed on price books and marketing projects.
- Implement process improvements in department to facilitate continuous improvement.
- Assist outside sales team with specification work and improvement of quotation win rates.
- Participation in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities.
- Other ad-hoc duties and analyses as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
