Requirements
- Knowledge of all aspects of scholarship/financial aid and billing programs, policies, procedures, and practices
- Knowledge of federal, state, university, and private assistance programs and payment options

- Bachelor’s degree required; supplemented with one (1) year of related work experience in a financial aid office, with experience in counseling and aid assessment.
Responsibilities
- Advises and counsels students, parents, agencies, and University staff on all aspects of financial aid programs (federal, state, university, private): policies, procedures, practices, office services, and document completion; processes applications/documents related to aid programs; processes emergency loans.
- Conducts workshops on the financial aid process; assists in aid eligibility assessment, funds disbursement, and aid reconciliation procedures.
- Serves as liaison for office functions, programs, and services, internal and external to the University; attends high school nights and special events; manages incoming calls, e-mail messages, and follow-up procedures applicable to assigned student groups.
- Reviews and updates award notifications; coordinates special condition applications; problem-solves for aid applicants; coordinates enrollment management and development financial aid and scholarship activities with admission counselors.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
