Industrial Engineer

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
2-5 years of practical experience in industrial engineering roles, including experience with automation preferred.
Experience with project management.
Proficiency in AutoCAD (CAD) in 2D applications.
Familiarity with distribution centers and warehouses.
Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills for internal and external collaboration and reporting.
Experience working with cross-functional teams.
Flexibility and adaptability to changes in project scope or requirements.
Proficiency in Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
Available for a minimum of 25% travel based on business needs that would require visits to other ThredUP distribution centers.

Participate in the operational planning and implementation of multiple projects from deployment to closure.
Assist in identifying areas of improvement in production processes and help develop strategies to enhance efficiency.
Contribute to the analysis of current production workflows and assist in recommending changes to improve productivity.
Collect and analyze production data under the guidance of senior engineers, using basic statistical methods.
Assist in the design and optimization of DC layouts and process.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
