Requirements
- Proven track record of developing and implementing effective compliance programs across diverse organizations.
- Familiarity with laws and requirements applicable to our business, including global harassment prevention requirements, employment laws, data privacy laws, cybersecurity, AI laws, anti-money laundering, anti-bribery and anti-corruption, and Code of Conduct.
- Ability to adapt to changing regulatory landscapes and business needs.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly develop connection, rapport, and credibility with compliance leaders, advisors, and prospects.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work both independently and as a member of a team.
- Proven ability to assess and prioritize risks, and effectively work with relevant stakeholders to mitigate risks.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain a robust compliance program to ensure our products and services comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Act as a resource and subject matter expert for all compliance-related matters, which will include responding to compliance inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Partner with Product and Learning Experience to develop training content and to integrate compliance considerations into product development.
- Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations that impact our products/services, and build communications plans with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to provide timely updates to customers and prospects.
- Develop, revise, and maintain compliance policies and procedures that reflect compliance best practices.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and develop mitigation strategies.
- Develop and execute a thought leadership strategy to position Ethena as a top voice in the compliance space.
- Secure earned speaking opportunities at relevant conferences, webinars, and industry events.
- Manage relationships with Ethena’s compliance advisors to identify and leverage their expertise and strengths for Ethena’s growth.
- Guide the development of external-facing content (articles, whitepapers, case studies, etc.) that addresses relevant laws, compliance trends, and changes in the regulatory landscape.
- Build and maintain a network of compliance professionals, including on LinkedIn and other compliance forums.
- Lead various types of virtual and in-person meetings including calls with prospects, virtual roundtables, panel discussions, webinars, and live streams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity or experience with speaking at events or panels is a plus.
- Prior experience using Ethena’s products is also a plus.
- Understanding of marketing principles is helpful, but a willingness to learn is essential.
