Requirements
- Currently seeking an accounting degree
- Mid-Junior or Senior year status
- 0-1 years of experience in a professional environment
- Comfortable working in Microsoft Excel with mid to advanced knowledge using functions such as vlookup, conditional formats, linked workbooks, and pivot tables
- Basic accounting knowledge and understanding of debit/credit classification of accounts and what it means to reconcile an account
Responsibilities
- Perform General Ledger account reconciliations, identify outstanding transaction items and provide resolution assistance
- Maintain and monitor Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable invoice transaction status logs by tracking and initiating incoming and outgoing communication
- Assist with other system-based reconciliations
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to work a hybrid/onsite work schedule
- Currently enrolled in an accredited institution’s associate’s or bachelor’s program
