Requirements

  • 2 years of Sales and Valve Automation experience required
  • Strong communication, time management and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint, Access, etc.)
  • Detail-orientated with a solid ability to organize and prioritize work

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate effectively with our Valve Automation team to grow business and develop customer relationships
  • Prepare quotations for bids for Valve Automation opportunities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with assigned customer base, ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services
  • Develop and maintain vendor relations
  • Lead all aspects of a Valve Automation, from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget
  • Recommend products and services that fit well with clients’ business needs
  • Identify, develop, and gather the resources to complete the project
  • Establish and maintain effective sales relationships with major accounts/customers
  • Monitor progress and performance against the project plan; resolve operational problems and minimize delays
  • Work directly with partners and clients to determine project scope, specifications, requirements, and perform calculations
  • Conduct project meetings and prepare regular reports to communicate the status of the project within and beyond the valve automation team
  • Responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of supplies, materials, and equipment
  • Provide a high level of assistance to program/project managers to ensure projects are carried out according to plan

Preferred Qualifications

  • Valve Project and vendor knowledge is preferred
