Requirements
- 5+ years progressive experience in business management, ecommerce, economics, analytics or financial planning within the travel and/or tech industry
- Bachelor’s degree (Finance, Business Management, Economics) or MBA preferred; or equivalent in related professional experience
- Strong understanding of financial metrics
- Demonstrated ability to influence and collaboration across a matrixed organization
Responsibilities
- Conduct and coordinate deep dives into business performance with various cross-functional teams to uncover actionable insights and drive strategic initiatives
- Identify growth opportunities and influence cross-functional teams across Expedia Group to enable execution for successful outcomes
- Develop insights to round out performance and understand short, medium, and long-term trends
- Drive opportunities to size new initiatives/businesses
- Develop a deep understanding of key site metrics (e.g., traffic, conversion, GBV, cancellations, take rate, booked revenue, GP) to unlock and drive actions to improve business performance in close partnership with key stakeholders
