Requirements
- Requires BA/BS in Pharmacy.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a pharmacist in a clinical setting; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
- Requires a registered pharmacist.
- Must possess an active unrestricted state license to practice pharmacy as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh).
Responsibilities
- Develop strategic plans, evaluate opportunities, and oversee planning and outcomes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the Elevance enterprise, including leadership, and engage with external partners and vendors.
- Provides clinical consulting services to client and implements clinical information and education programs.
- Assists in developing formularies.
- Performs drug utilization analyses.
- Participates in and presents to Pharmacy and Therapeutics (P&T) committee meetings and management of client formulary.
Preferred Qualifications
- PharmD preferred.
- 2+ years of experience related to Medicare Stars, in particular, part D stars (medication adherence, medication adherence, statin use, polypharmacy, and member experience measures related to pharmacy) highly preferred.
- 2+ years of experience related to strategy development and execution highly preferred.
- 2+ years of experience related to clinical program management development, execution, and monitoring highly preferred.
- 2+ years of data analysis highly preferred.
