Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels to determine reorder points and safety stock levels
- Use data analysis to predict future inventory needs and prevent overstocking or stockouts
- Perform regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
- Work with sales, supply chain, and warehouse teams to align inventory levels with business needs
- Develop strategies to minimize costs, improve efficiency, and reduce waste
- Generate and present inventory reports to management
- Assist in creating purchase orders and communicate with vendors regarding inventory needs
- Help implement and maintain inventory management policies and procedures
