Requirements

  • BS or BA in Communications, Business Administration or related field
  • A minimum of 3 years of full-time experience
  • Proven ability to work creatively and effectively with various people and interest groups
  • Requires a demonstrated commitment and respect for the Catholic Church and the tenants of Catholic Social teaching
  • Ability to achieve results while respecting others; strong propensity towards collaboration and teamwork; flexible and adaptable
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a communication strategy
  • Maintain good working relationships and effective communications between parish, school, community, ministries, various groups, and outside authorities
  • Maintain the weekly bulletin, announcements, website, and all other communications
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with major donors and sponsors
  • Act as spokesperson with current and prospective donors
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the Catholic community
  • Develop and maintain relationships with foundations, corporations, and other partners
  • Design, implement, and manage activities, including annual giving, endowment, and capital campaigns
  • Manage all strategies and activities for donor cultivation, solicitation, and relations
  • Facilitate matching gifts
  • Attend all staff meetings and any meeting necessary to perform their duties
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
