Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified in Obesity Medicine by the ABOM (American Board of Obesity Medicine) is required
- Are licensed to practice and prescribe legally and are credentialed with insurance payers in the state of California (Compact license and/or additional state licenses a plus!)
- Have excellent interpersonal skills for patient and team interactions
- Are committed to the highest quality of medical care and an evidence-based approach to obesity management
- Have prior experience conducting telemedicine visits and who have a great ‘web-side’ manner
- Have prior experience working collaboratively with advanced practice professionals and registered dietitians
