Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or related field)
  • A current Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • At least 10 years of experience managing water/wastewater engineering projects
  • Expertise in hydraulics, water rights, source capacity, storage, collection, treatment, distribution, and transmission
  • Strong skills in software tools like AutoCAD and GIS
  • A proven track record of leading multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage the planning, design, and execution of projects including treatment plants, pipelines, pump stations, distribution systems, and water quality improvements
  • Oversee multidisciplinary teams of engineers and technicians, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards
  • Collaborate with leadership to grow our presence in Utah by securing new water and wastewater projects, building client relationships, and identifying opportunities to expand our market share
  • Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and growth-focused work environment
