Bachelor’s degree in science or related field, or equivalent of 10 years Automotive Experience. Bachelors degree preferred.
3+ years of progressive experience leading and building teams
Data driven with a passion for developing people
Automotive/Body Shop experience
Strong technical skills in networking, hardware, and software systems
Knowledge of BIW Flush & Gap measurement concepts, Joining Tech and Surface Finish requirements.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
The ability to read and interpret manufacturing instructions/specifications
Strong understanding of Body in White manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in quality control tools and techniques (SPC, FMEA, Control Plans, PPAP).
Experience with quality auditing and standards (VDA, IATF, ISO 9001).
Proficient in measurement technology.
Lean Six Sigma Green certification.
Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)

Work from the Customer(s) perspective, driving quality in design and execution of products, through Key Performance Indicators and Specifications.
Lead quality issue investigation inside the manufacturing plant. Track, analyze, and resolve, ensuring root cause is robust and verify corrective actions are effective, using statistical problem-solving methods (6 sigma, PDCA, A3,)
Audit and identify gaps in quality systems of manufacturing partners by utilizing VDA standards and develop them to ensure best in class quality vehicles are delivered to customers.
Coordinate input from internal/external customers to better understand customer’s need and/or perception to improve audit plan
Lead continuous improvement projects and supports investigation to improve overall quality performance
Support all quality campaigns define material on quality hold and establish clean point activities.
