Requirements
- 5+ years hands on experience planning / scheduling Maintenance work based on calendar or equipment needs
- Experience working with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) such as SAP PM, Maximo, MaintainX, etc.
- Ability to read exploded parts diagrams, mechanical drawings and electrical prints
- Experience creating Work Orders to direct Maintenance activities
- Experience creating shutdown schedules for maximum effectiveness
- Experience ordering parts to support equipment and Maintenance activities
- Experience creating reports to visualize work order status for Management
Responsibilities
- Interface with Maintenance, Production, Process and Quality groups to gather work requests
- Create work orders to drive Maintenance to PM or repair equipment
- Create visuals to show work order status such as complete, incomplete, overdue etc.
- Contact vendors as needed to order parts for future Maintenance work
- Assemble parts kits for Maintenance projects to ensure efficiency
- Examine equipment on work request to confirm issue exists and what is needed to resolve
- Gather part numbers from Vendors / Maintenance, create a database and order parts as needed.
- Organize part storage areas with labeling that matches the database above.
- Use a CMMS package to track and visualize all topics above.
- Request, drive and review Contractor work when applicable
- Facilitate Vendor repairs of motor, pumps, drives etc.
