Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Computer Engineering or related STEM degree from an accredited university or college
- 7+ years of experience working in a highly technical, aerospace-related industry
- 2+ years of experience as a System Engineer involved with the development, implementation, and deployment of complex systems
- Familiarity with Systems Engineering principles and requirement tools (e.g. DOORS, Polarion)
- Experience working on certified aerospace programs including ARP 4754A, ARP 4761
- Experience with MBSE tools (e.g. Cameo)
- Strong communication skills, self-driven and capable of participating in senior leadership discussions
- Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Support the systems engineering efforts from conceptual design, through validation and test
- Develop functions (Traffic Surveillance and Maintenance Functionality) of the Strata system in accordance with industry standards
- Capture, decompose, and validate requirements from initial design to final verification
- Support planning and execution of validation and verification activities
- Perform system modeling, requirements decomposition, and support of engineering technical reviews
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members to manage the integration of surveillance data service providers and Maintenance Functionality
- Support technology maturation of advanced system capabilities in accordance with industry standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in engineering or related field
- Experience working on certified aerospace programs including ARP 4754A
- Proficient in RTCA DO-381 and DO-260C
