Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with legal and procurement systems (Zip preferred)
  • Proven experience with legal tech implementations, especially AI-driven tools
  • Experience with CLM systems, particularly IronClad
  • Strong project management skills, capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Experience integrating systems via both native connectors and open API platforms
  • Deep understanding of both vendor and customer contract lifecycles
  • Experience with SQL or an object oriented programming language preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across various departments
  • Process oriented thinker with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain legal tech solutions (e.g., Ironclad contract lifecycle management, e-billing, matter management, and compliance tools)
  • Maintain and optimize procurement systems and workflows (Zip)
  • Train legal and cross-functional teams on legal tech platforms
  • Optimize reporting and analytics to track legal team performance
  • Manage other legal apps, including DocuSign
  • Streamline legal department workflows, policies, and procedures, with a focus on implementing AI features in our tools to improve process efficiency
  • Manage workflow templates ensuring they are progressing in a timely manner, focusing on clearing roadblocks when presented
  • Update and optimize workflows in Zip based on changes in corporate reporting, policy changes, etc.
  • Maintain Ironclad reporting on Legal team KPIs and insights
  • Develop and manage playbooks, templates, and self-service tools
  • Support knowledge management and document retention strategies
  • Build project plans in ClickUp, and track and report on progress for larger projects, such as importing sales contracts into Ironclad
  • Update legal slack channels monthly for new sales and CS team members
  • Provide weekly update to the legal team on new features and capabilities in our legal tech stack
  • Partner with Legal, HR, Finance, and IT on compliance, policies, and enterprise-wide initiatives
  • Work with Legal and Procurement to streamline contract and vendor processes and management including Practical Law
  • Support risk management, regulatory compliance, and governance projects
  • Lead or contribute to process improvement projects across the legal function
  • Work with Stakeholders on documenting business requirements on translating them to technical requirements
  • Establish KPIs and dashboards to measure operational effectiveness
  • Support change management efforts to improve legal department adoption of new tools/processes
  • Be willing to adapt to changes in the job description as deemed necessary by the business and accept all other duties as assigned.
