Requirements
- Masters or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Physics, Statistics or other STEM degree.
- 10+ Years of Software and systems engineering in fast paced environments
- 2+ Years in building products that use or incorporate Large Language Models
- 5+ years in building products that apply or incorporate Machine Learning Models
- Ability to support a driven a dynamic environment with high accountability and ownership
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the GenAI/AI team in successfully implementing advanced technologies in Blue Origin systems
- Collaborate with individuals involved to identify needs and create innovative solutions
- Provide technical expertise and leadership to ensure safe and efficient operations
- Report directly to Director GenAI & Smart Factory and contribute to the overall strategy and objectives of the engineering department
- Own and optimize production and enterprise AI systems, ensuring exceptional performance and reliability
- Work directly with product managers and senior leaders on the Roadmap, products, and capabilities to drive an Enterprise level scope
- Grow and mentor dedicated individuals and future leaders
