Team Lead – Software Test Infrastructure

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience
Proven experience in a test or infrastructure role, demonstrating technical leadership and innovation
Experience creating automated Software in the Loop (SITL) and Hardware in the Loop (HITL) tests for robotics or embedded products
Must be an expert in scripting languages such as Python and Bash
Strong experience working in a Linux environment, NixOS experience preferred
Strong expertise in CI/CD tools (e.g. Circle CI, Github Actions, Jenkins, etc)
In-depth knowledge of version control systems (e.g. Git, SVN)
Excellent problem solving and communication skills
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

Establish test automation roadmap for all Tactical Reconnaissance & Strike (TRS) Robots (Altius, Ghost, Anvil, Bolt)
Lead a distributed team of engineers to design and build a comprehensive SITL and HITL testing framework
Coordinate deployment and management of HITL assets across multiple labs (ATL, HQ, SEA)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automated testing best practices into the software development lifecycle
Build observability into the testing pipeline and ensure high availability of test resources
Partner with the SW Systems Engineering team to track and expand test coverage
Establish and maintain continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
Provide expertise in containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
Mentor and guide team members in test methodologies and best practices
Evaluate emerging technologies to ensure the team stays current with industry trends
