Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Minimum of three years of related experience in facilities maintenance and operations, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Good verbal and written skills to articulate details and communicate effectively across departments
- Proficiency with MS Office/Google Docs required
- Understanding of maintenance function and ability to perform maintenance-related tasks
- Basic working knowledge of facilities tools
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs to building and fixed facility equipment
- Remove and replace broken equipment
- Perform plumbing and electrical repairs as required
- Replace ballasts, light fixtures, and bulbs
- Paint facilities as needed
- Keep inventory of maintenance supplies and materials required for facilities maintenance
- Ensure proper inventory levels of repair parts so repairs can be made in a timely manner
- Purchase repair parts; process paperwork
- Ability to work overtime, evenings, and occasional weekends due to project assignments
- Attending scheduled training and departmental meetings
- Operate company or personal vehicle as needed
- Maintains punctual, regular, and predictable attendance
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical education and/or hands-on experience in HVAC maintenance and operation
- Technical education and/or hands-on experience in electrical power distribution
- Technical education and/or hands-on experience in process water (RO/DI) and compressed air systems (CDA)
