Requirements
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience, with a proven track record of success in selling to the mid-market segment (500-2,000 employees) at a national level, preferably in SaaS, healthcare, or employee benefits sectors.
- Expertise in managing a complex sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals.
- Strong understanding of employee benefits, mental health, wellness programs, or corporate healthcare solutions is highly preferred.
- Exceptional consultative sales skills with the ability to engage and build relationships with C-suite executives and senior decision-makers.
- Experience using CRM tools, especially Salesforce, to track and manage sales activities.
- Results-oriented with a proven ability to consistently meet or exceed sales quotas and objectives.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex solutions to a diverse audience.
- Willingness to travel as needed (up to 25-30% of the time).
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of your sales territory, focusing on Mid-Market accounts with a national scope.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth in alignment with Talkspace’s business objectives.
- Identify, target, and prospect potential clients across various industries, leveraging inbound leads, outbound outreach, and networking.
- Engage with senior decision-makers (HR leaders, C-suite executives, benefits managers, and other key stakeholders) to understand their organizational needs and provide tailored mental health solutions through Talkspace.
- Manage the full sales process, from prospecting and lead qualification to negotiating and closing contracts.
- Ensure a smooth handoff to the customer success and implementation teams.
- Maintain and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities in Salesforce, forecast accurately, and meet/exceed sales targets.
- Provide regular updates on progress, obstacles, and key wins.
- Work closely with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to align on messaging, client needs, and deliverables.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and evolving customer needs to position Talkspace as a thought leader and trusted partner.
- Develop and maintain long-term, strategic relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers, ensuring clients’ continued satisfaction with Talkspace’s services.
