Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in design, with a proven track record in UX/UI, product design, and UX research, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing expertise in designing and leading the creation of innovative, user-centric experiences across digital products and brand touchpoints.
  • Deep understanding of design principles, UX/UI best practices, and product development processes.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams, collaborating with engineers, product managers, data scientists, marketers, and more to deliver exceptional design solutions.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with a history of building and mentoring high-performing design teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and decisions to both designers and non-designers.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools.
  • Experience with conducting and interpreting user research, A/B testing, and data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Set and communicate a clear design vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall goals and values. Inspire, mentor, and grow a world-class design team.
  • Champion a user-first approach across all design disciplines (UX/UI, product design, branding), ensuring a seamless and intuitive experience for customers.
  • Partner closely with product management, engineering, marketing, and other teams to drive cohesive design solutions that balance user needs with business objectives.
  • Establish and optimize design processes, workflows, and best practices to ensure efficiency, collaboration, and high-quality outcomes. Encourage innovation and experimentation within the design team.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top design talent. Foster a culture of feedback, growth, and collaboration within the team.
  • Leverage user research, data, and analytics to inform and iterate on design decisions, ensuring a balance between creativity and performance.
  • Advocate for design excellence throughout the organization, communicating the value of design to non-design stakeholders and fostering a design-driven culture.
