Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in a strategy or operational role with a strong track record creating new processes, influencing, and driving results.
- Bachelor’s degree required and preferred in an analytical field, such as economics, math, statistics, supply chain management, analytics, or engineering. MBA is a plus.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization and across different teams.
- A strategic thinker who thrives in ambiguity and is excited by the opportunity to shape and define a new area.

Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of sourcing for Marketing, including supplier strategy, segmentation, and contracting.
- Partner with key stakeholders in Marketing, Finance, and Legal to identify cost-saving opportunities, improve contract terms, and implement scalable processes that enhance ROI.
- Move quickly to assess opportunities, develop innovative procurement strategies, and implement solutions that drive immediate and long-term business value.
- Analyze marketing spend data to develop strategies that maximize cost savings, mitigate risks, and enhance leverage while maintaining quality and service levels.
- Drive long-term spend planning and innovation in partnership with Marketing to align purchasing strategies with business objectives.
- Work on negotiation strategies for some of Wayfair’s largest vendors and partners, ensuring we maximize value while maintaining strong partnerships.
- Establish end-to-end procurement processes that improve efficiency, increase leverage, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to embed strategic procurement practices that improve efficiency and drive smarter purchasing decisions.
- Ensure visibility and alignment across teams when vendor or category spend is fragmented, driving a unified, strategic approach to supplier management.
- Manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely execution, cross-functional alignment, and measurable impact.
Preferred Qualifications
- Negotiation experience and/or an understanding of the Marketing landscape is a plus but not required (we can teach you).
- Prior procurement experience is not required.
