Requirements
- A terminal degree in law (J.D.) from an accredited institution is required
- Experience and demonstrable excellence in teaching Business Law, Ethics, and/or Critical Thinking at a high level of proficiency
Responsibilities
- Instruction of 8 courses (24 credit per academic year)
- Lecturing, leading class discussions and conducting other teaching activities during scheduled classes
- Creating, administering and grading using appropriate assessment methods
- Holding office hours and providing additional support for students outside the class time periods
- Calculating and submitting grades for all students
- Collaborating with the chair and faculty of the Business Law Department to create coursework or support the department’s mission
- Following established expectations and protocols for the department and to stay current in the field
