Requirements

• Associate’s: Health Science or equivalent education/experience
• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
• ARRT – Radiography – American Register of Radiologic Technologists
• OR ARMRIT-Certified MRI Technologist
• OR CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist
• BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider within 30 Days of hire
• A complete understanding of technical principles, policies, and procedures is required in Magnetic Resonant Imaging
• A complete understanding of technical principles, policies, and procedures is required in general diagnostic radiography to include trauma radiography, routine fluoroscopy, pediatric radiography, surgical radiography, portable radiography
• Proficiency in MRA imaging with 2D/3D reconstruction skills
• Computer Skills – Basic word-processing skills; competent within the HIS (Health Information System), the RIS (Radiology Information System) and PACS (Picture Archive and Communication System)
• Good communication skills (both orally and in writing)
• Good organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Perform procedures in Magnetic Resonance Imaging and preferably one or more of the following modalities: General Radiology, Angio/Cath Lab and Computed Tomography
• Maintain records accurately
• Complete other duties or assignments as required
• Prioritize and successfully complete assigned workload in a stressful environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years as a Radiologic Technologist performing general diagnostic imaging and one or more of the following modalities: Angio/Cath Lab, Computed Tomography, or Magnetic Resonant Imaging
• Experience in an acute care hospital
