Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Statistics, or other quantitative disciplines of similar rigor
- Completion of 1 – 2 exams is preferred
- Relevant internship experience is preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist lead pricing actuary in experience monitoring and pricing new/renewal business
- Maintenance of pricing tools and assumptions to support A&H pricing activities
- Provide actuarial support for A&H US rating platform
- Track A&H US exposure
- Work with external consultants to support filing for A&H products
- Work with the Reporting team on data calls
- Collaboration with Underwriting, Operations and Reserving Departments when needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong technical skills, including advanced proficiency in Excel, VBA, R, SQL, or Python
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong business acumen
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, agile work environment, including hybrid work settings
