Requirements
- Master’s degree or terminal degree (Ph.D.) in statistics, data science, or a closely related field by appointment start date
- Demonstrated ability as a teacher and advisor for Assistant Teaching Professor and higher ranks
- Evidence of professional development and scholarship for Associate Teaching Professor and Teaching Professor
Responsibilities
- Teach introductory undergraduate to upper-level undergraduate statistics and data science courses
- Possibly teach graduate-level statistics and data science service courses for non-statistics students
- Occasionally teach in an online setting
- Help design/redesign courses that benefit majors
