Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
- Working knowledge of risk management techniques, including Employee Health and Benefits markets and marketing techniques
- Deep understanding of various funding mechanisms and ability to share knowledge with a variety of stakeholders
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future
Responsibilities
- Providing advanced client service and ensuring the smooth implementation and management of client accounts
- Resolving complex issues related to claim resolution, billing, and eligibility
- Inputting in market strategy discussions and proactive requests for benchmarking data
- Leading the marketing process and ensuring that all RFP documents are accurately gathered
- Exploring negotiation opportunities and driving carrier negotiations
- Overseeing the implementation of technology solutions
- Preparing client presentations, developing meeting agendas, and coordinating important plan documents
- Collaborating with compliance resources to ensure everything is in line with regulations
- Driving client strategy and directly interacting with decision-makers
Preferred Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in Benefits or HR preferred
- Life & Health License or ability to obtain within 90 days
