Requirements

  • 5+ years of design experience, preferably in B2B, SaaS, or enterprise products, with a strong portfolio showcasing your impact on growth metrics and business outcomes.
  • High bar for interaction and visual design skills, with an eye for sweating the details and the ability to deliver high-quality, polished experiences
  • Fluency with growth design principles and knowledgeable with growth loops, effective onboarding and feature discovery, activation and retention strategies, and conversion rate optimization.
  • Ability to show or speak towards shipped work that demonstrates growth experiments, or features that resulted in measurable business outcomes (e.g., increased conversion, improved retention).
  • Data-centric mindset and experience in testing and validating designs through funnel analysis, A/B testing or data-centric decision-making.
  • Skilled at working cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, content designers, and researchers to deliver results.
  • Ability to move quick in a fast-paced environment, embracing ambiguity, and taking ownership of initiatives with a bias for action.
  • Ability to clearly articulate design decisions, insights, and recommendations catered to diverse audiences, from design critiques to executive presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end design efforts: Design and deliver impactful solutions aligned with our growth objectives from discovery and problem framing to prototyping, user testing, and high-fidelity designs.
  • Drive onboarding and adoption strategies: Create experiences that drive user activation, retention, and conversion, leveraging best practices for experimentation and optimization.
  • Collaborate with Product, research and data: Partner with our Maze researchers and data team to translate insights into actionable solutions that deliver measurable results.
  • Experiment and validate: Design and run usability tests, analyze results, and iterate rapidly to improve user flows and outcomes.
  • Refine interaction and visual design: Craft delightful and intuitive user experiences that engage users and drive them towards success in the product.
  • Measure and iterate on success: Define success for your solutions, analyze performance, and continuously refine designs based on quantitative and qualitative feedback.
  • Mentor and influence: Raise the bar for design quality, influence design processes, and mentor other designers to continue to grow our team’s capabilities.
