Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in technical sourcing or recruiting
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field desired
  • Experience with sourcing and recruiting for a wide range of IT, project management, and engineering positions across civilian, DoD, and Intelligence agency contracts
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system such as iCIMS or something similar
  • In-depth knowledge of the common terms and acronyms, technologies, and processes used by government agencies
  • Must be customer service oriented and work to understand the needs of our hiring managers as they work to grow and develop their programs
  • Familiarity with MS Office
  • Must be a US citizen

Responsibilities

  • Identify qualified candidates using various sourcing tools (job boards, social media, networking groups) and techniques (e.g. Boolean search)
  • Conduct baseline phone screens with candidates and coordinate interviews with the hiring and program managers
  • Utilize LinkedIn and other social media sites to promote Abacus opportunities and upcoming hiring events
  • Maintain a candidate database with relevant information throughout the hiring process
  • Develop and maintain relationships with candidates to create talent pipelines for current and future opportunities
  • Work closely with the Recruiting Manager to provide updates, discuss roadblocks, and establish priorities
  • Coordinate with corporate departments including HR, security, finance, business development, and proposal management as necessary
  • Coordinate and participate in job fairs and open houses
