Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.
  • Experience in Cloud Infrastructure, Cloud Computing, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Enterprise applications, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML), or big data.
  • Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).

Responsibilities

  • Work with and influence user researchers, product managers, engineers and others in the Cloud product area to create an excellent user experience for specific enterprise and customer use cases to help drive impact across multiple compute engine focus areas.
  • Understand and gain a deep understanding of Cloud technologies, user motivations, market opportunities, and competition.
  • Recognize when the solution being proposed isn’t ideal, and challenges the approach with alternative solutions.
  • Lead design direction and create storyboards, wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes to guide design and development.
  • Pitch and present concepts, proposals, and updates to executive stakeholders and translate complex concepts and interactions into simple, elegant, and coherent design.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience working collaboratively with and influencing other designers, product managers and engineers.
  • Experience prototyping your own designs using Figma.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to listen, articulate positions, and advocate designs.
  • Logical, analytical, and investigative thinking skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and visual design skills.
