Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the bar in the State of Texas or at least one State bar in the United States
- 5+ years of legal experience, preferably with a combination of law firm and in-house legal counsel roles
- Strong knowledge of corporate and commercial law
- Excellent negotiation and drafting skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities
- Provide proactive legal counsel to senior management and internal departments on a broad range of issues, including employment law, corporate compliance, intellectual property, and commercial transactions
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure the company’s rights and obligations are clearly defined and protected
- Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, including data protection and privacy laws
- Manage legal disputes, litigation, and claims, liaising with external counsel when necessary
- Identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, providing training and guidance to staff as needed
- Assist in the creation and implementation of company policies and procedures to support compliance and minimize liability
