Requirements
- A valid Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) license in good standing.
- 2+ years of experience in clinical veterinary medicine required.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with hospital leadership to recruit, retain, and train veterinary staff, ensuring orientation and performance management to drive retention and productivity.
- Responsible for driving clinical excellence and ensuring the highest standards of care are met.
- Acts as a key leader, fostering a strong workplace culture, aligning with the company’s core values, and driving performance and retention at the hospital level.
- Works with leadership and compliance teams to ensure adherence to local, state, and federal safety standards, inventory management, and fosters team relationships to maintain staffing levels and hospital efficiency. Lead Veterinarian will also be responsible for holding the DEA premise license.
