Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in Channel data management
- Strong experience with channel management systems, CRMs, and platforms such as Model N, Salesforce, Oracle ERP or similar tools.
- Strong experience with channel management system processes in semiconductor industry
- Demonstrated expertise in data governance, data quality management, and data integration practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve data issues effectively.
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively share data-driven insights with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of IT Systems, Processes, strategies for collecting, managing, and analyzing channel partner data across multiple systems and platforms.
- Work closely with Model N professional services, sales, marketing, and other business units to ensure the successful implementation of Model N Channel Management & Channel Data Management modules.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for Model N.
- Oversee Configuration of Model N Channel Management modules (e.g., POS, Channel Inventory, Ship & Debit Claims, Price Protection).
- Collaborate with technical teams for custom development when out-of-the-box solutions don’t suffice
- Define and document end-to-end business processes involving distributors, partners, and internal teams.
- Ensure process alignment with Model N’s capabilities.
- Coordinate integration of Model N with ERP (Oracle Fusion), CRM(Salesforce), and other partner systems.
- Ensure seamless data flow (e.g., sales data, inventory, pricing).
- Ensure data accuracy for channel transactions (POS, inventory, claims).
- Design data validation rules and monitor data quality.
- Develop and execute test plans (unit, system, UAT).
- Validate that solutions meet business requirements and Model N standards.
- Provide user training for business teams (Sales Ops, Channel Ops).
- Create detailed user manuals, process flows, and support documentation.
- Act as the liaison between business users and technical teams.
- Provide regular status updates, resolve issues, and manage change requests.
- Identify areas for process or system enhancement.
- Stay updated with Model N releases and recommend upgrades or new functionalities.
