Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in: Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Agile Product Management, preferably with customer-facing products, demonstrating agile development teams
  • Proven experience supervising vendor development and implementation activities
  • Strong communication skills with ability to explain complex technical details to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong quantitative analysis skills: proven ability to work with and influence vendor product team
  • A passion for learning and figuring out creative restaurant technology solution to any given business problem
  • A love of new technologies and the drive to find ways to implement better tools and processes to improve efficiency
  • Strong ability to speak to, as well as collaborate with, engineers, project managers, corporate leadership, and partners
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing indirect reports to achieve organizational goals
  • Curious, task-oriented, and a self-starter with a strong bias for action; Proven track record of “getting things done”
  • Retail or Hospitality technology experience; in-store and/or Back Office technology experience a plus
  • Ability to maintain composure and adapt with change; strong desire for continuous learning; embraces a growth mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the product roadmap for profitability application.
  • Collaborate on product vision and ensure alignment with business goals and user needs.
  • Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring that the most valuable and strategically aligned features are delivered.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements, translating them into user stories with detailed acceptance criteria.
  • Understand and communicate business needs to the development team and ensure stakeholders are informed of progress and updates.
  • Assist in leading vendor development to deliver enhancements needed to support enhancements and new Point of Sale, Digital, Payments and Supply Chain integrated features (includes backlog grooming, requirement gathering, scope planning, testing coordination, etc.).
  • Maintain organized oversight of specific product delivery schedules to ensure proper balance of features, timing, and integration with other functions, and communicate in coordination with other product teams.
  • Assist and be the subject matter expert on features and capabilities to development partners and other product teams to ensure alignment.
  • Manage internal and partner relationships to lead to successful, collaborative outcomes.
  • Ensure scalability, security, and reliability are prioritized in the development process.
