Responsibilities
- Functions as Business Operations Senior Analyst in Administration for the Institute for Behavioral Medicine Research (IBMR) under the direct supervision of the IBMR Director
- Provides the Director with operational programming, strategies, and process improvements
- Provides administrative guidance and support to the Director in alignment with training and mentorship to the 20+ research labs consisting of 100+ faculty, learners, and staff members representing 4 colleges
- Supports IBMR Director with conference, symposia and lecture series planning and execution
- Works with the Director to visualize, develop & establish strategic plans, innovative initiatives & long-term goals & objectives to support the mission of the IBMR
- Develops, oversees and administers institute governance policy and procedures
- Oversees the daily operational activities including fiscal, human resources, marketing and communications, compliance, and space and facilities management activities
- Oversees the management of operating and capital budgets and projections; conceptualizes and develops business plans for new programs or services; oversees audits of research operations, space, and assets to ensure compliance; oversees the transition for newly hired institute members
- Creates reports utilized for the strategic planning, analysis and ongoing operations of colleges and units
- Exercises tact and diplomacy with confidential information
- Uses word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet software to draft correspondence, presentations, agendas, reports and other materials
- Manages one or more direct reports
- Cultivates relationships to produce optimal results
- May draft responses to inquiries
- Maintains electronic and paper filing systems
