Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or combination of industry certifications and equivalent related work experience of 5 years or more
  • At least two years of managerial experience leading Quality Assurance teams

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Quality Assurance team spanning across multiple enterprise applications.
  • Collaborate with IT leaders to deploy an automated testing mechanism
  • Lead and oversee the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) – including requirements analysis, test planning, test case development, environmental setup, test execution, and test cycle closure.
  • Develop and review test cases, scenarios, and plans based on the requirements of enhancements.
  • Supervise the execution of all test plans to ensure that newly developed software complies with requirements and is stable for production release.
  • Implement QA policies related to Regression, Functional, Performance, Usability, and User Acceptance testing based on documented requirements.
  • Ensure defects are documented and tracked efficiently, working closely with the Product Manager to address and retest issues.
  • Ensure thorough documentation of all test plans and outcomes in JIRA.
  • Provide guidance on troubleshooting software bugs and assist the team with user support tickets.
  • Oversee the creation of training documentation on new releases.
  • Stay updated with new testing strategies and best practices and implement them within the team.
  • Report on Quality Assurance metrics and project status to senior management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Intermediate experience writing SQL queries preferred
