Requirements
- Currently enrolled in Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in one or more analytic software tools, such as Python (e.g. pandas, matplotlib), R (e.g. tidyverse).
- Demonstrated proficiency in SQL and using relational database querying tools (e.g. SSMS, DBeaver, etc.).
- Demonstrated proficiency in statistical analysis (hypothesis testing, regression modeling) and exposure to machine learning algorithms.
- Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, Spotfire, PowerBI).
- Attention to detail, goal-oriented mentality.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently without detailed guidance, while maintaining effective communications with supervisors.
- Ability to communicate effectively and document objectives and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Explore data patterns using existing data science tools and self-created programs.
- Perform statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and generate automated reporting.
- Work with IT and cross functional teams to identify data sources, clean data, and pre-process scripts as needed.
- Assist in implementation of analytics tools.
- Assist in building data products across functional areas.
- Assist data engineering in documentation and data catalog.
- Performs other duties as required.
