Requirements

• Excellent written and communications skills
• Ability to work with multiple departments
• Strong working knowledge of trims and finishes
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Need to have strong computer skills in Excel, Word, Power Point
• 2+ years in fabric/trim or equivalent product development experience in apparel

Responsibilities

• Ensure the seasonal trims development on time delivery
• Work with the design team to select the new seasonal trims based on the requested construction and finishes
• Working with Eastern/Western Hemisphere Global Material Supply teams and trim suppliers on trim options based on design briefs
• Gather and evaluating trim information
• Reviewing and commenting on initial testing results for trim approval
• Following up on new trim samples
• Review trim testing results against specifications and advising approval status to suppliers and GMS team
• Assist with quality review as needed with the QA, PD, and Design team
• Set up fabric in ERP and PLM systems
• Review with the custom compliance team and QA as needed
• Maintain physical trim library and build electronic trim information file
• Maintain approved trim files
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail for the department
• Special projects as needed by Raw Materials Sr. Manager

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge in Database programs a plus
• Multilingual communications considered a plus
• Experience with web-based PLM system preferred
