Requirements
- MD degree
- Completion of radiology residency training
- Must hold USMLE Steps I, II, and III
- Valid ECFMG certificate
Responsibilities
- Work with cardiothoracic and cardiovascular radiology faculty in the performance and interpretation of examinations
- Spend time 50/50 between cardiovascular and thoracic imaging
- Perform clinical work in the MUSC Main Hospital and MUSC Ashley River Tower
- Work closely with referring physicians to ensure appropriate studies are performed
- Participate in resident and medical student teaching
- Participate in ongoing research projects under the supervision of cardiothoracic faculty
- Obtain hands-on training in 4D image post-processing of CTAs and MRIs
- Participate in interdisciplinary conferences
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license
- Computer literacy
- Ability to work rotating shifts
- Ability to work overtime as required
- Ability to learn and use new processes, tools and equipment as required
