Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiar with building and maintaining software in a team environment with Git.
- Hands-on experience with Linux, Git, and comfortable working with CLI shells/tools.
- Collaboration and Communication: Exceptional social skills with the ability to thrive in multi-functional teams. You are proactive in reaching out for help when hitting roadblocks.
- Resourceful in finding solutions and adapting to new challenges in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with team members: You will work with backend engineers, frontend engineers, infrastructure engineers, and engineering managers to ensure reliable integration and deployment of services.
- Enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines: You will be responsible for updating and optimizing our CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient and reliable software delivery.
- Implement and run infrastructure: You will set up and handle various infrastructure components, such as NATS clusters, Vault PKI secrets, and observability tools.
- Develop and document processes: You will establish and maintain comprehensive documentation for deployment processes, observability tooling, and on-call procedures.
- Automate and improve workflows: You will investigate and implement automation solutions for common tasks, improving the developer experience of working on the cloud console.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated contributions to major open source infrastructure projects related to DevOps, such as Terraform, Kubernetes, or Git.
- Proven knowledge of Cloud Service Providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Prior experience with Kubernetes
- Experience building services with the Go programming language.
- A proactive and positive demeanor, with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
