Requirements
- Graduate of an approved nursing program with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Current Indiana or compact state RN license
- BLS for Healthcare Provider required
- ACLS Certification required (obtained within 12 months of hire)
- NIHSS Stroke Certification required (Obtained within 10 weeks of hire)
- At least one (1) year of nursing experience required
Responsibilities
- Providing assistance to the department Nurse Manager in planning, organizing, directing and evaluating nursing services of the unit
- Collaborating with Quality Manager to support quality initiatives and performance improvement activities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a Charge Nurse or Supervisor preferred
- Quality Improvement/Data Analysis experience preferred
