Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in design or architecture, or equivalent
- Experience leading in a large, matrixed organization
- Proven track record of designing for scaling
- Excellent oral, written and overall communications skills (including presentation and storytelling skills)
- Strong work ethic with a passion, energy and enthusiasm for the journey ahead at McDonald’s
- Global mentality – working within and contributing to a globally understood picture of business priorities and keeping global audiences and impacts for the business and external environment front of mind
- Ability to Influence, both externally and internally
Responsibilities
- Lead a team that owns McDonald’s restaurant design strategy and standards
- Drive delivery of new design solutions and facilitate their execution across markets globally
- Provide innovative designs and formats that support profitable new restaurant openings
- Reimage the current portfolio to grow sales
- Lead the innovation & evolution of McDonald’s restaurant experience by developing a robust 3-5 yr vision
- Lead all testing of Market zero projects globally
- Develop a robust curriculum to train segment and market leads as well as local design consultants towards certification of Global McDonald’s Development partner
- Stay on top of design, construction and marketplace trends
