Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or 8+ years of Payroll Accounting experience.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and Google products.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels, including upper management.
Responsibilities
- Submit the ADP quarterly and period tax files.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, tax, mobility, and Peopletech, to provide payroll and accounting guidance.
- Analyze profit and loss statements and balance sheets focusing on accruals and variance analysis.
- Prepare accrual and liability account reconciliations.
- Partner with the global teams to ensure appropriate cross-charging.
- Ensure the accurate execution of payroll accounting processes and address related queries.
- Conduct month-over-month and quarter-over-quarter variance analysis.
- Facilitate audits by providing necessary records and documentation to auditors.
- Identify potential issues proactively and take corrective measures.
- Reconcile and post ad-hoc bank transactions.
- Simplify and improve payroll and accounting processes.
- Manage month-end closing tasks, including posting journal entries.
- Stay updated on payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Reconcile the payroll tax registers to the tax vendor records and payments.
- Monitor the completion of the payroll settlement to the bank confirmation.
- Contribute to developing a world-class global payroll process and act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
- Work in a hybrid setting (3 days onsite per week) with a collaborative team atmosphere.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) Certification is preferred.
