Requirements
- Analytic foundation with understanding of financial statements and proficient Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong writing skills and experience with PowerPoint and Microsoft Word
- Effective organizational skills and the aptitude to manage people and work products
- Self-motivated and experienced in taking initiative on thoughtful research and related analysis
- Strong communication skills and experience interacting with teammates and clients
- 1-2 years of professional experience in corporate finance, equity research (or similar), accounting, or related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field from top tier institution; strong academic record
Responsibilities
- Identifying and maintaining a database of potential target businesses / clients
- Maintaining an external watch list along with related credit profiles
- Preparing and completing ‘idea books’ to pitch to target businesses / clients
- Preparing marketing materials for meetings with potential clients
- Interacting with clients and preparing meeting deliverables and follow ups
- Tracking the capital markets and analyzing any changes within the markets
- Supporting the senior members of the Capital Advisory Group (specifically within the creditor business marketing initiative)
